An excellent theraputic device
Bought this on the recommendation of my Chiropractor to help reduce neck strain and stooping shoulders. Have been absolutely amazed at how much difference it has made. I use it 3 times a week as directed and now wouldn't be without it. It definitely should be used under a Doctor's supervision lest you overdo it and hurt yourself. Personally, I use the model with the chin strap and do like it. The price is outstanding and the best I have found. Highly recommended, but consult with your Dr. first.

Experience with Neck Pump
Upon receiving the posture neck pump, I didn't know how to operate it. The box was without instructions nor was there any inside. Luckily my neighbor had one and told me how to use it.

I noticed some results the second day. Waiting to see more in the coming weeks.

Great product- breaks easily
I bought this product and the pump popped within two months. I decided to buy it again because I enjoyed it but be careful, do not pump it up to the maximum amount as it may break.

Seems to help
It is hard to strap yourself into this. It can be done but not easily. For me, just lying on it in the right position and inflating as the instructions say does seem to take away tightness and headaches.

Just started using it and it does help.
It will be interesting to see if it can rectify my reverse curvature.

How is it possible to hydrate your disc? That is an impossibility.
jeri m on May 13, 2016
BEST ANSWER: If you google "convective transport of intervertebral discs," you'll find a lot of research articles describing the process of disc hydration and nutrition. The basic answer is, by moving the spine, especially compressing and stretching the discs, fluid is pumped into them.
what brand is this?
cin08 on Jun 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This is not a brand name product, it is generic.
Does it smooth turkey neck?
A shopper on May 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The purpose of the Neck Pump is meant to relieve back pain, stiffness, and restore motion. The only way it is likely to alter your appearance is by improving your posture.
How does it hydrate discs in the neck?
A shopper on May 16, 2016
BEST ANSWER: When the neck and back lose their natural curved shape, the soft discs that are in between the vertebrae become compressed and rich lubricating fluid is unable to penetrate and hydrate the discs. This causes premature aging in the form of stiff dry joints. The Disc Hydrator counteracts that by lifting, stretching, decompressing, hydrating and shaping the neck and back into its “vital” natural curved shape.

How does it work since it is not electric?
Margie T on Aug 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Your neck rests in a cradle with an inflatable balloon which is attached to the hard plastic form. It is inflated by squeezing the rubber bulb shown in the picture. Air pressure is released by pushing the white knob under the model's thumb in the demo picture. The amount of inflation depends on the number of times you squeeze the bulb. For me, my Dr. said to start with three pumps and hold it for a a count of 15, then release the pressure. Talk to your Dr. about how many times to repeat the inflation.

The pain is like my neck is o. A vise squeezing harder and harder and sometimes the pain is in my back arms and across my shoulder blades. Can this help me?
Margie T on Aug 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This product may be of use to you, we recommend speaking with your physician to gauge if this is the best choice for your needs.
why is the price different from $49 to $58 when in your cart?
A shopper on Jun 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I sincerely apologize, the way our company works is that we offer daily deals, items that go on sale for 24 hours at a time. If the 24 hour sale passed, your email may still list the sale price, but the site itself will have reverted to the initial price point. I do apologize for this inconvenience.
Is it electric?
Sharon W on May 18, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No, this item is not electric, it is manually inflated and deflated using the hand pump.
last month on our vacation I lifted a heavy luggage and that instant I felt like an electric shock on the left side of my neck and ever since it strikes me whenever I lifted something heavy or out of position; can this lessen my pain if I use this pillow?
A shopper on May 11, 2016
BEST ANSWER: We always recommend speaking with your primary care physician before purchasing an item like this to aid chronic pain.
For what length of time do you use it per session?
Ken C on Aug 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I was told by my chiropractor to pump it up 5 times release and repeat 5 times then do it again and hold it for 5 min then slowly release and get a few more minutes up to 10-15 min after your body gets use to it. I did however get a migraine after doing it the 3rd time because it was too much. So it's as your body can tollerate. I was also told though that this product is only good to use if you really are having issues with degeneration. If not it can cause problems. Just as any other product.
Can this product help me with straight neck with pain in my neck and across my shoulder blades ?
Margie T on Aug 29, 2016
BEST ANSWER: This product may be able to assist you, we recommended speaking with your physician to determine if this is the right choice for you.
One reviewer stated there were not any instructions in the box. Are there?
Linda O on Jul 26, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Mine did not come with any instructions. However, my chiropractor is the one who recommended it and had demonstrated and told me how to use it before ordering. Personally, I wouldn't ordered it if it had not been medically recommended. The demo/instructions were very helpful and I actually could tell a difference just from the demo use.
Why can't you make one for the low back?

BEST ANSWER: I do apologize, Dailysale is not the manufacturers of this item, we are simply re-sellers.
Does the device move ore is out just stationary?
A shopper on Feb 9, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The round part is stationary. The smaller piece inside that you lay your neck on moves up and down, controlled by the air you pump into it with the hand pump. The hand pump is actually very easy to use - doesn't take strength - and it gives you complete control of the movable part - which has a big range of motion, from just a slight lifting of your neck to a large one. I did not find I needed to wear the chin strap.
Can the neck pump be used with a bi-pap mask?
barbe on Aug 31, 2016
BEST ANSWER: We recommend speaking with your physician to determine if that is medically advised.
I have a fusion in my neck metal pieces and screws can I use this?
rnbosnd on Jun 6, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I wouldn't recommend you use this device unless your doctor's approves it. There are too many variables involved to take the risk of injury or damage to your neck. Some of these would include the how many times to squeeze the inflation bulb each time; how long to hold each inflation before deflating the neck balloon; duration between balloon inflations; and how many times a week to use the devise to name a few.
Can you use it in bed or do you have to use it on a hard surface?
Vicki A on Jan 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I'm not a doctor but I prefer to use it on my bed! The frame still gives you a lot of stability but the cushion of the bed allows it to sink a little bit so it's not as intense of a curve. I actually find it more comfortable this way.
I have nerve pain in my left arm caused from a pinch nerve in my neck. Would this help relieve my pain?
Becky S on Jan 12, 2017
BEST ANSWER: That would be best discussed with your medical provider.
My neck is curved and also fused naturally,I have limited movement in every direction ,can this product help me?

BEST ANSWER: We recommend consulting your physician to determine if this product will quit your needs.
Do I have to sleep with it or use it so many minutes a day?
Skeeters on Jan 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No, you DO NOT sleep with it! The length of time I use it was established by my Doctor and consists of a series of inflations - deflations - inflations, each for a specified length of time. It IS USED on a level, hard surface such as an exercise table, floor, etc. You DO NOT use it on a bed because it is to soft and does not adequately support the back and neck when you are using the device.
Where does the air pass through?
A shopper on Oct 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: As shown in the picture, the black bulb in the model"s hand is like the blood pressure pump in a doctor's office. You inflate the neck balloon by squeezing the bulb in your hand. You deflate the neck balloon by pressing the white pressure release valve under the model's thumb. Very simple and straight forward process. The only caution I would add is to be sure the black air hose is not caught and crushed under the blue plastic frame of the device when you are using it.
When pumping it up what is the max tension?
Cathy S on Aug 28, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I avoided surgery with this. I started at only 2 pumps and increased over the next several months. I am now comfortable at full 10 -12 pumps. Still popping neck back in place, getting stronger and healing. Mine was more expensive than it is now so I'd say go for it! My chiro says it can add 10 years to your life to have your head used to correct upright position. Good luck!
